round retro color cansHappy new year to all! We’re looking forward to some exciting new product developments this year, so please stay tuned.

If you’ve spent any time perusing our products, you’ve probably noticed we have a thing for stainless steel. It’s easy to clean and always looks sharp, which makes it a great material for trash cans. But a splash of color certainly has its place.

That’s why we’re introducing some fun new limited edition color step cans. We took two of our bestselling stainless steel designs—the enduringly space-efficient rectangular step can and our new retro step can—and gave them bright and bold new finishes in blue, green, mocha, pink, and red.

We also made the cans in some strong but understated new colors to match the unique accents of your kitchen: white, cream, silver, dark silver, and black. That’s 10 new colors in all! Pick one to set yourself apart.

All our new color cans retain the functionality of their stainless steel counterparts: the strong, all-steel pedals and the lid shox® air suspension shocks that make the lid close smoothly and silently every time. They’re available exclusively at simplehuman.com and simplehuman.co.uk, and only in limited quantities. Check them out—and start the year with a flash of color!

Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately, we don’t have any current plans to extend the limited-edition colors to the 25l rectangular. However, if we do we will let you know!

what about the rest of us who don't live in US or UK? your products cost me more than twice as much since i have to specially import them to India. Please stop making gorgeous bins, I have squandered enough!
