Fall_leaves
We love fall! The chill in the air, the falling leaves, the deep blue sky. And the changing weather means big changes in the garden too. Time to pull out the rake and prep your plants for winter.

To help you manage the season, About.com’s Landscaping guide has a terrific FAQ on fall gardening. It includes tips on how to rake leaves (hint: you want to rake up the thatch, not just the leaves), how long to keep watering plants and mowing your lawn, and how to protect various plants and trees from winter’s freezing temperatures.

We can’t wait for that cup of hot chocolate after a brisk afternoon’s work …
