SmartcartTired of getting your heels clipped by a careless shopping cart driver? Your sore shins may be a thing of the past if this shopping cart, called B.O.S.S. for Battery Operated Smart Servant makes it way into production. The B.O.S.S.cart, designed by University of Florida student, Gregory Garcia, has sensors that allow it to avoid obstacles. Sensors also allow the cart to follow the shopper around the supermarket, slow down so groceries can be placed into the cart—and it can even be made to return itself! Now that’s what we call smart shopping! (via: gearlive.com)
