Sometimes in the course of doing one job, you end up doing another. We are taking some new product photography tomorrow and Frank suggested we might want to use a copper pot as a prop. Since I own a few copper pots I figured I’d save us some money and just bring in my own. I happen to like the patina copper gets with age, but I knew Frank was referring to a shiny new penny color so I figured I would finally try the old home remedy of scrubbing the pot with half a lemon dipped in salt. Not only did it work beautifully, it was much nicer smelling than Brasso. The instructions are super easy:
1. Before : unpolished copper pot
2. Grab some salt and half a lemon
3. Dip the lemon into the salt
4. Scrub
5. Shiny and new!
